An introspective affair. Most slice-of-life updates are on facebook, while mass photo uploads are now on flickr. My Toucha boys are Jory and Maximus. Jory was having a roar of a morning in November; I couldn't reach him, and he died in traffic. His loss has carved a hole in me. Max is Jory's little half brother. Jory taught me a lot, but we weren't finished growing. Max is on the journey with me and Alpha Male now.

Jorah is on an anti inflammatory. He got stung or bit at the end of a walk last Saturday, and we still caught him licking (mlemming, if you will) at his leg over the week. Found nothing initially, or after related checks. He wasn't happy to hike with me the following day, but despite the licks, no hard evidence. But he was snuggling me a lot more than he normally cares to, and just seemed to be getting... Off, a little down and with less energy.
I had a little play date with a friend's dog, and she was surprised at his change in behavior-he normally doesn't give her dog as much space (at all) and couldn't keep up with her for long after the initial meet and greet. So my growing suspicion was confirmed, and to the vet we went!... On Monday, it was the weekend.
Nothing bad was found! But the vet believed me, something was bothering him. We hope this will get him back to his perky, but still mellow self. I noticed an improvement in his mood and energy tonight already.
Bf thinks it's all in my head. I think I know my dog. since I regularly obsess about him, it's fair to give me some expert credit.
